Straw Lamb is a modern livestock operation where reliable electricity is essential for daily farming activities. Grid interruptions and rising electricity costs caused uncertainty in production. The farm needed a reliable energy solution to keep operating amid these changes.

Solution

HolmStone designed and installed a 110 kWp rooftop solar PV system. It includes a 110 kW hybrid inverter, an 80 kWh battery storage system, and generator backup. These systems ensure a steady energy supply for the farm. They perform well during the daytime. They manage grid interruptions and offer backup when necessary.

To maximise long-term performance, HolmStone also implemented a comprehensive Service Level Agreement (SLA).

The system undergoes active management to ensure reliable operation. This includes:
