Challenge
Seemann’s Polokwane is a high-demand food processing facility where electricity, heating, refrigeration, and water directly influence production costs. Without detailed visibility into how utilities were being consumed across the plant, identifying inefficiencies and prioritising improvements was difficult.
Solution
HolmStone implemented an online metering and monitoring system to create real-time visibility across the facility’s utilities. Working closely with the operational team, targeted testing and analysis identified high-energy-consuming areas and operational inefficiencies throughout the plant.
