PYRAMID DC
Pyramid Distribution Centre in Pretoria is a key cold storage and logistics hub supporting the regional distribution of perishable goods.
As part of our utility management programme, HolmStone have installed multiple electrical and water meters to monitor energy use throughout the facility.
Full site audits was done to establish site single line diagrams to be understand energy flow and demands
A detailed engineering analysis of the refrigeration systems is currently underway to identify and implement opportunities for improved energy efficiency and reduced operational costs.
RS FOODS POLOKWANE
RussellStone Foods Polokwane is a food processing facility specialising in value-added meat products, including polony, Russians, viennas, bacon, hams, and sliced cold meats.
HolmStone implemented a site-wide energy management programme, including:
- Electrical sub-metering
- Process Water metering
- and refrigeration system optimisation,
resulting in a 30% reduction in electricity consumption.
HolmStone are currently conducting further analysis to address thermal energy demands on site.
Zoetwater
Zoetwatwer is one of Schoeman Boerdery’s key sites farming over 2600ha under irrigation with crops varying from beans, maize, wheat and lusern as well as pecan nuts
At Schoemann Boerdery’s Zoetwater farm, HolmStone manages both water and electricity consumption through a tailored utility management programme.
Our services support the farmer from water source development to the efficient distribution of water from the Orange River to the main dam.
With water being one of the most critical and limited resources in agriculture, we are actively working to develop the most effective and sustainable water transfer strategies to support reliable farm operations.
